My name is Frank, I'm a computational linguist with interests in general linguistics, constraint-based grammar formalisms, formal semantics, grammar implementation, statistical corpus linguistics, and psycholinguistics. I've worked on the formal foundations of Head-driven Phrase Structure Grammar, the grammar implementation environment TRALE, the syntax and semantics of negative concord in a number of European languages, idiomatic expressions in German, negative polarity items (from various perspectives, including corpus work and psycholinguistic experiments), and on software for teaching purposes. In my copious free time I like to (re-) configure web servers, and to go to Switzerland to take pictures.

My professional webpages [1] provide information on my (computational linguistic) interests beyond Lexical Resource Semantics. For my blog and picture gallery, you might want to check out my private website. [2]
